World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Tunisia defeats Mauritania 2-1

NOUAKCHOTT, Nov. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Tunisia defeated Mauritania by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Friday afternoon at the Nouakchott Olympic Stadium.

Mauritania had started off well by taking the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal by N'Diaye. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Tunisians nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Khazri '62 and Chikhaoui '68).

The second leg between Mauritania and Tunisia will be played on Tuesday November 17, 2015 (kick-off: 18:00) in Rades.
