NIAMEY, Nov. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Cameroon defeated Niger by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Friday afternoon at the General Seyni Kountché Stadium in Niamey.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Stéphane Mbia ('36), Vincent Aboubakar ('39) and Edgar Salli ('40).
The second leg between Niger and Cameroon will be played on Tuesday November 17, 2015 (kick-off: 15:00) in Yaoundé.
