World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Botswana defeats Mali 2-1
FRANCISTOWN, Nov. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Botswana defeated Mali by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Saturday night at the Francistown Stadium.
Botswana dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gadibolae ('14) and Mogorosi ('24). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Batswanas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
The second leg between Botswana and Mali will be played on Tuesday November 17, 2015 (kick-off: 19:00) in Bamako.
