World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Zambia beats Sudan 2-0 to qualify for next round
NDOLA, Nov. 15, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Zambia defeated Sudan by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday afternoon at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Musonda ('59) and Kalengo ('81).
Zambia, who won the first leg (1-0), advance to the third round of the ongoing CAF World Cup qualifying campaign. Sudan is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Second Round
