World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Algeria beats Tanzania 7-0 to qualify for next round
BLIDA, Nov. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Algeria defeated Tanzania by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 3-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Stade Mustapha Tchaker.
Faouzi Ghoulam and Islam Slimani scored dual goals
Algeria dominated the first half thanks to goals from Brahimi ('1), Ghoulam ('23) and Mahrez ('43). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Algerians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Slimani '49/penalty, '75, Ghoulam '59/penalty and Medjani '72).
Algeria, who tied 2-2 in the first leg, advance to the third round of the ongoing CAF World Cup qualifying campaign. Tanzania is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Second Round
