ABIDJAN, Nov. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Ivory Coast defeated Liberia by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday afternoon at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
Giovanni Sio scored dual goals
Ivory Coast dominated the first half thanks to goals from Sio ('16, '35). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Ivorians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Seri in the 64th minute.
