World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Libya beats Rwanda 3-1 to qualify for next round
KIGALI, Nov. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Libya defeated Rwanda by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday afternoon at the Nyamirambo Stadium in Kigali.
El Monir scored dual goals
El Monir opened the score in the 36th minute, before seeing Rwanda catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Tuyisenge. 1-1 at half time. The Libyans eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Al Ghanodi ('48) and El Monir ('90).
Libya, who won the first leg (1-0), advance to the third round of the ongoing CAF World Cup qualifying campaign. Rwanda is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Second Round
