World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : DR Congo beats Libya 4-0
KINSHASA, Oct. 8, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Libya by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night at the Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte in Kinshasa.
Mbokani scored dual goals
DR Congo dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mbokani ('6) and Bolingi ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Congoleses further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Mbokani '57 and Mubele '68).
The result put the congolese top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, DR Congo will meet Guinea at the Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte on November 13, while Libya will face Tunisia.
