MONASTIR, Sep. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Libya defeated Guinea by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Monday night at the Mustapha Ben Jannet Stadium in Monastir.
All the action happened in the first half, with Elhouni goal in the 36th minute.
The result put the Guineans third in Group A with 3 points. Libya is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Guinea will meet group leaders Tunisia at the Mustapha Ben Jannet Stadium on October 7, while Libya will face DR Congo.
