LIMBE, Nov. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Cameroon tied 1-1 with Zambia (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Saturday afternoon at the Stade de Limbé.
One goal for both sides in the first half, Aboubakar ('45 on penalty) for Cameroon, Mbesuma ('34) for Zambia and none in the second.
The result put the Cameroonians second in Group B with 2 points. Zambia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Cameroon will meet group leaders Nigeria at the Stade de Limbé on September 1, while Zambia will face Algeria.
