BOUAKé, Oct. 8, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Ivory Coast defeated Mali by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 3-1), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night at the Stade Bouaké.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Jonathan Kodjia ('26), S. Coulibaly ('31 own) and Gervinho ('34).
The result put the Ivorians top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Ivory Coast will meet Morocco at the Stade Bouaké on November 12, while Mali will face Gabon.
