OUAGADOUGOU, Sep. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Burkina Faso tied 2-2 with Senegal (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night at the Stade du 4-Août in Ouagadougou.
One goal for both sides in the first half, B. Traoré ('9) for Burkina Faso, Sarr ('27) for Senegal and one each in the second, Traoré ('88) for Burkina Faso, Mané ('75) for Senegal.
The result put the Burkinabé top of Group D with 6 points. Senegal is second with 5 points. In their next game, Burkina Faso will meet South Africa at the Stade du 4-Août on October 7, while Senegal will face Cape Verde.
