World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Bermuda beats Bahamas 5-0
NASSAU, Mar. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (American Qualifiers) : Bermuda defeated the Bahamas by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 3-0), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Wednesday night at the Thomas Robinson Stadium in Nassau.
Donawa scored dual goals
Bermuda dominated the first half thanks to goals from Leverock ('4), Wells ('14 on penalty) and Lewis ('29). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Bermudians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Donawa '57, '70).
The second leg between the Bahamas and Bermuda will be played on Sunday March 29, 2015 (kick-off: 15:00) in Devonshire.
