World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Curaçao beats Montserrat 2-1

WILLEMSTAD, Mar. 27, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (American Qualifiers) : Curaçao defeated Montserrat by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Friday night at the Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad.

All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Merencia ('8) and Zschusschen ('39 on penalty).

The second leg between Curaçao and Montserrat will be played on Tuesday March 31, 2015 (kick-off: 19:00) in St. John's.
