GUATEMALA CITY, Sep. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (American Qualifiers) : Guatemala defeated Saint Vincent and the Grenadines by a big score of 9-3 (halftime: 4-2), in a World Cup qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Estadio Mateo Flores in Guatemala City.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines opened the score in the score in the 10th minute thanks to Anderson, before Guatemala regained the advantage with Tinoco ('13) and Ruiz ('20, '27, '36). Leading 4-2 at the break, the Guatemalans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring five times (Arreola '55, Ruiz '57, '59, Morales '78 and Márquez '83).
