LA PAZ, Nov. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (South American Qualifiers) : Bolivia defeated Venezuela by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 3-1), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Thursday afternoon at the Hernando Siles Stadium in La Paz.
Ramallo scored dual goals
Bolivia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ramallo ('19, '45) and Arce ('23 on penalty). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Bolivians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cardozo in the 49th minute.
The result put the Bolivians 7th in the group with 3 points. Venezuela is bottom with no points. In their next game, Bolivia will meet Paraguay at the Hernando Siles Stadium on November 17, while Venezuela will face Ecuador.
