BARRANQUILLA, Nov. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (South American Qualifiers) : Argentina defeated Colombia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday afternoon at the Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez in Barranquilla.
All the action happened in the first half, with Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia goal in the 19th minute.
The result put the Argentine fourth in the group with 5 points. Colombia is 7th with 4 points. In their next game, Argentina will meet second-placed Chile at the Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez on March 24, while Colombia will face Bolivia.
