World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Brazil beats Bolivia 5-0
NATAL, Oct. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (South American Qualifiers) : Brazil defeated Bolivia by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Thursday night at the Arena das Dunas in Natal.
Brazil dominated the first half thanks to goals from Neymar ('10), Coutinho ('25), Filipe Luís ('38) and Gabriel Jesus ('43). Leading 4-0 at the break, the Brazilians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Firmino in the 75th minute.
The result put the Brazilians second in the group with 18 points. Bolivia is 9th with 7 points. In their next game, Brazil will meet Venezuela at the Arena das Dunas on October 11, while Bolivia will face Ecuador.
