World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Colombia and Uruguay play to a 2-2 draw
BARRANQUILLA, Oct. 11, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (South American Qualifiers) : Colombia tied 2-2 with Uruguay (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday afternoon at the Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez in Barranquilla.
One goal for both sides in the first half, Aguilar ('15) for Colombia, Rodríguez ('27) for Uruguay and one each in the second, Mina ('84) for Colombia, Suárez ('73) for Uruguay.
The result put the Uruguayans top of the group with 20 points. Colombia is third with 17 points. In their next game, Uruguay will meet Ecuador at the Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez on November 10, while Colombia will face Chile.
