BUENOS AIRES, Sep. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (South American Qualifiers) : Argentina tied 1-1 with Venezuela (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday night at the Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Feltscher ('54 own) for Argentina, Murillo ('51) for Venezuela.
The result put the Argentine fourth in the group with 24 points. Venezuela is bottom with 8 points. In their next game, Argentina will meet Peru at the Estadio Monumental on October 5, while Venezuela will face Uruguay.
