ASUNCIóN, Oct. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (South American Qualifiers) : Venezuela defeated Paraguay by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup qualifying game (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday night at the Defensores del Chaco Stadium in Asunción.
45 minutes of play and neither the Venezuelans nor the Paraguayans have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Herrera with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
