LIMA, Nov. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Qualifiers) : Peru defeated New Zealand by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Wednesday night at the National Stadium in Lima.
Peru dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Jefferson Farfán in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Peruvians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ramos in the 65th minute.
