BORISOV, Oct. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Belarus tied 1-1 with Luxembourg (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Monday night at the Borisov Arena.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Savitski ('80) for Belarus, Joachim ('85) for Luxembourg.
The result put the Belarusians 5th in Group A with 2 points. Luxembourg is bottom with one point. In their next game, Belarus will meet Bulgaria at the Borisov Arena on November 13, while Luxembourg will face the Netherlands.
