World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Hungary defeats Andorra 4-0
BUDAPEST, Nov. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Hungary defeated Andorra by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Sunday night at the Groupama Arena in Budapest.
Hungary dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gera ('34) and Lang ('43). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Hungarians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Gyurcsó '73 and Szalai '88).
The result put the Hungarians second in Group B with 7 points. Andorra is bottom with no points. In their next game, Hungary will meet third-placed Portugal at the Groupama Arena on March 25, while Andorra will face the Faroe islands.
