OSLO, Sep. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Germany defeated Norway by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Sunday night at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo.
Thomas Müller scored dual goals
Germany dominated the first half thanks to goals from Müller ('16) and Kimmich ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Germans further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Müller in the 60th minute.
The result put the Germans top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Germany will meet third-placed Czech republic at the Ullevaal Stadion on October 8, while Norway will face Azerbaijan.
