World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Germany beats San Marino 7-0
NUREMBERG, Jun. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Germany defeated San Marino by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night at the Frankenstadion in Nuremberg.
Sandro Wagner scored tripple goals
Germany dominated the first half thanks to goals from Draxler ('11), Wagner ('16, '29) and Younes ('38). Leading 4-0 at the break, the Germans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Mustafi '47, Brandt '72 and Wagner '85).
The result put the Germans top of Group C with 18 points. San Marino is bottom with no points. In their next game, Germany will meet third-placed Czech republic at the Frankenstadion on September 1, while San Marino will face Northern Ireland.
