DUBLIN, Oct. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Ireland defeated Moldova by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Friday night at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Daryl Murphy ('2, '19).
