COPENHAGEN, Sep. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Denmark defeated Armenia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Sunday night at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
All the action happened in the first half, with Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen goal in the 17th minute.
The result put the Dane top of Group E with 3 points. In their next game, Denmark will meet Poland at the Parken Stadium on October 8, while Armenia will face Romania.
