PODGORICA, Oct. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Denmark defeated Montenegro by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Podgorica City Stadium.
All the action happened in the first half, with Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen goal in the 16th minute.
The result put the Dane second in Group E with 19 points. Montenegro is third with 16 points. In their last game, Denmark will meet Romania at the Podgorica City Stadium on October 8, while Montenegro will face Poland.
