WARSAW, Oct. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Poland defeated Montenegro by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 2-0), in a World Cup qualifying game on Sunday night at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw.
Poland dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mączyński ('6) and Grosicki ('16). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Poles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Lewandowski '86 and Stojković '89/own).
Poland secured their ticket to the World Cup finals. Montenegro is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Group E
