LJUBLJANA, Oct. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Slovenia tied 2-2 with Scotland (halftime: 0-1), in a World Cup qualifying game on Sunday night at the Stozice Stadium in Ljubljana.
The Scots started off well by taking the lead thanks to Griffiths in the 32nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Snodgrass goal ('88) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Slovenia with dual goals from Bezjak ('52 and '72.
