TURIN, Oct. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Italy tied 1-1 with Spain (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Daniele De Rossi ('82 on penalty) for Italy, Vitolo ('55) for Spain.
The result put the Spaniard second in Group G with 4 points. Italy is third with 4 points. In their next game, Spain will meet group leaders Albania at the Juventus Stadium on October 9, while Italy will face Macedonia.
