STRUMICA, Sep. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Macedonia tied 1-1 with Albania (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night at the Mladost Stadium in Strumica.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Trajkovski ('78 on penalty) for Macedonia, Roshi ('53) for Albania.
The result put the Albanians third in Group G with 13 points. Macedonia is 5th with 7 points. In their next game, Albania will meet group leaders Spain at the Mladost Stadium on October 6, while Macedonia will face Italy.
