VADUZ, Oct. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Israel defeated Liechtenstein by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Friday night at the Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz.
All the action happened in the first half, with Tibi goal in the 22nd minute.
The result put the Israelians fourth in Group G with 12 points. Liechtenstein is bottom with no points. In their last game, Israel will meet group leaders Spain at the Rheinpark Stadion on October 9, while Liechtenstein will face Macedonia.
