ALICANTE, Oct. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Spain defeated Albania by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Friday night at the Estadio José Rico Pérez in Alicante.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Rodrigo ('16), [Isco ('24) and Thiago Alcántara ('27).
The result put the Spaniard top of Group G with 25 points. Albania is third with 13 points. In their last game, Spain will meet Israel at the Estadio José Rico Pérez on October 9, while Albania will face Italy.
