ZENICA, Sep. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Estonia by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night at the Bilino Polje in Zenica.
Emir Spahić scored dual goals
Bosnia and Herzegovina dominated the first half thanks to goals from Spahić ('7) and Džeko ('23 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Bosnians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Medunjanin '71, Ibisevic '83 and Spahić '90).
The result put the Bosnians top of Group H with 3 points. In their next game, Bosnia and Herzegovina will meet third-placed Belgium at the Bilino Polje on October 7, while Estonia will face Gibraltar.
