World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Croatia beats Kosovo 6-0
SHKODëR, Oct. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Croatia defeated Kosovo by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Loro Boriçi Stadium in Shkodër.
Mario Mandžukić scored tripple goals
Croatia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mandžukić ('6, '24, '35). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Croatians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Mitrović '68, Perisic '83 and N. Kalinić '90).
The result put the Croatians top of Group I with 4 points. Kosovo is bottom with one point. In their next game, Croatia will meet Finland at the Loro Boriçi Stadium on October 9, while Kosovo will face Ukraine.
