ODESSA, Nov. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Ukraine defeated Finland by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night at the Chornomorets Stadium in Odessa.
All the action happened in the first half, with Kravets goal in the 25th minute.
The result put the Ukrainians second in Group I with 8 points. Finland is 5th with one point. In their next game, Ukraine will meet group leaders Croatia at the Chornomorets Stadium on March 24, while Finland will face Turkey.
