World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Finland beats Kosovo 1-0
SHKODëR, Sep. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Finland defeated Kosovo by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night at the Loro Boriçi Stadium in Shkodër.
Kosovo made the Finnishs doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Pukki with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
The result put the Finnish 5th in Group I with 7 points. Kosovo is bottom with one point. In their next game, Finland will meet group leaders Croatia at the Loro Boriçi Stadium on October 6, while Kosovo will face Ukraine.
