RIJEKA, Oct. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Croatia tied 1-1 with Finland (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Friday night at the Stadion Rujevica in Rijeka.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Mandžukić ('57) for Croatia, Soiri ('90) for Finland.
The result put the Croatians second in Group I with 17 points. Finland is 5th with 8 points. In their last game, Croatia will meet third-placed Ukraine at the Stadion Rujevica on October 9, while Finland will face Turkey.
