SOLNA, Nov. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (European Qualifiers) : Sweden defeated Italy by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Friday night at the Friends Arena in Solna.
Italy made the Swedishs doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Johansson in the 61st minute.
The second leg between Sweden and Italy will be played on Monday November 13, 2017 (kick-off: 20:45) in Milan.
