GERMANY, Oct. 4, 2014 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 9: After their 3-3 draw against FSV Frankfurt on September 28, FC St. Pauli bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Union Berlin this Saturday.

FC St. Pauli dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Christopher Nöthe in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, FC St. Pauli players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Rzatkowski '73 and Verhoek '88).

FC St. Pauli climbed to 10th place with 11 points from 9 games, only one point behind Karlsruher SC.
