2. Bundesliga (Week 10) : Nürnberg defeats Sandhausen 3-1

GERMANY, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 10: After losing 3-0 to FC St. Pauli on October 4, Union Berlin bounced back with a 3-1 victory over SV Sandhausen this Saturday.

Sebastian Polter scored dual goals

SV Sandhausen had started off well by taking the lead in the 24th minute with a goal by Nigerian defender Seyi Olajengbesi. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Union Berlin players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Polter '52, '80 and Brandy '60).

1. FC Union Berlin climbed to 13rd place with 10 points from 10 games, only one point behind FC St. Pauli, which has a game in hand.
