GERMANY, Dec. 5, 2014 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 16: The match between VfL Bochum and FC St. Pauli ended in a 3-3 draw on Friday.
FC St. Pauli players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Verhoek ('33) and Daube ('40) while VfL Bochum only scored once Ziereis ('38 own). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, and despite Maier goal ('69) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by VfL Bochum with goals by Stanislav Šesták ('58) and Tobias Weis ('81).
VfL Bochum climbed to 9th place with 20 points from 16 games, 4 points behind Karlsruher SC, which has a game in hand.
