GERMANY, Dec. 13, 2014 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Karlsruher SC. After their 1-0 win against Eintracht Braunschweig on December 7, KSC continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory over 1860 Munich this Saturday.
Rouwen Hennings scored dual goals
1860 Munich had started off well by taking the lead in the 28th minute with a goal by defender Maximilian Wittek. Trailing 1-0 at half time, KSC nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Hennings '59, '69 and Yamada '67).
Karlsruher SC climbed to second place with 30 points from 17 games, 3 points behind FC Ingolstadt 04, which has a game in hand.
