GERMANY, Dec. 13, 2014 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 17: After losing 2-0 to VfR Aalen on December 5 and 1-3 to SV Sandhausen on December 5, Fortuna Düsseldorf returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over FSV Frankfurt this Saturday.
Fortuna Düsseldorf dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Australian midfielder Ben Halloran in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Fortuna Düsseldorf players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Benschop in the 63rd minute.
