Stefan Mugosa scored dual goals
Erzgebirge Aue dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Montenegrin forward Stefan Mugosa in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Erzgebirge Aue players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Mugosa '75 and Fandrich '85).
Karlsruher SC are down in fourth place with 52 points from 31 games, one point behind SV Darmstadt 98.
