GERMANY, Sep. 27, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 9: After their 2-2 draw against Arminia Bielefeld on September 24 and 1-1 draw against RB Leipzig on September 24, the Breisgau-Brasilianer bounced back with a 2-0 victory over FSV Frankfurt this Sunday.
SC Freiburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Maximilian Philipp in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Breisgau-Brasilianer further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Abrashi Amir in the 49th minute.
SC Freiburg climbed to first place with 20 points from 9 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up VfL Bochum.
