GERMANY, Oct. 18, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 11: After their 1-1 draw against Karlsruher SC on October 4, the Breisgau-Brasilianer returned to winning ways with a 5-2 victory over SpVgg Greuther Fürth this Sunday.
Vincenzo Grifo scored dual goals
SC Freiburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Immanuel Höhn in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Breisgau-Brasilianer further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Philipp '55, Grifo '60, '61 and Petersen '74).
SC Freiburg climbed to first place with 24 points from 11 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up VfL Bochum.
