GERMANY, Dec. 19, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 19: Five wins in a row for FC Nürnberg. After their success against Eintracht Braunschweig, FC St. Pauli, Paderborn and SC Freiburg, FC Nürnberg continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over FC Heidenheim this Saturday.
FC Nürnberg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Austrian forward Guido Burgstaller in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, FC Nürnberg players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Schöpf '60 and Behrens '84).
1. FC Nürnberg remains in third place with 33 points from 19 games, 2 points behind SC Freiburg, which has a game in hand.
